"Avian Erasure: "
Encaustic archive of Australia’s imperiled avian life, where endangered birds are buried beneath translucent layers of encaustic wax to mirror the delicate, shifting balance of their survival."

The Avian Collection
"The same deep time and environmental flux that shapes the ancient geology of Ikara now dictates the fragile survival of Australia’s avian life. In this series, the unpredictability of my aleatory practice meets a critical conservation focus, using the preserving—yet obscuring—nature of encaustic wax to archive species on the brink of erasure."
The Archival Print
Every work is produced on museum-grade 310gsm cotton rag paper. The carbon inks sit deep within the heavy, unembellished fiber, holding the quietest gradients of misty morning light.
These limited-edition archival prints are signed, numbered, and registered by the artist. The heavy matte surface preserves the stark, high-contrast black tones and delicate gray washes indefinitely.
